Tips In Selecting Clubs

Irons

A large majority of players today, especially those with higher handicaps, opt for regular graphite shafts. Players with a very fast golf swing usually will opt for stiff shafts. While we provide both stiff and regular shafts, we sell 6 regular graphite iron sets for every 1 steel set or stiff graphite set.

Woods

Higher handicappers will usually opt for regular graphite shafts with lower handicappers evenly split between regular and stiff. All of our shafts are standard 65gr weight graphite.

Drivers

4 out of every 5 golfers prefer firmer shafts when choosing drivers. As longer shafts and larger heads promote a 'whip' response, the stiff shaft gives better control. Golfers with slow or incomplete swings usually favour regular shafts.

Hybrid / Rescue Clubs

Most golfers find these clubs easier to use than 3 or 4 irons or 7 woods and they give good distance. A useful club to get you out of the light rough. 19° or 22° lofts are the most popular.
